Suggested Topics

If you would like any information, or would like to see me write an article about an issue; if it concerns any topic that the bible addresses then feel free to add in your suggestions here. Your questions can be something you already know about and would like to see my take on it; or, they can be something that you would like to know about and don’t know where to begin in your study. Not knowing is fine. That is why God gave us each other that we might be able to strengthen and encourage each others faith in Jesus and that we might know how to better live our lives through each others experiences and through each others knowledge of the bible.

So that being said, “come let us reason together…” Isaiah 1:18. God wants us to search his word to find the answers for our everyday life. Solomon wrote in one of his proverbs, “For whoever finds me [God speaking.] finds life and obtains favor from the Lord but he who fails to find me [Again, God speaking.] injures himself; all who hate me [God] love death,” Proverbs 8:35-36.

Here is what Jesus had to say about searching the scriptures to the religious people: “You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness about me, yet you refuse to come to me that you may have life,” John 5:39. You see, it is not merely a study of the bible that will save you. You don’t have life because you study the word. You have life because you find Jesus in the word and then come to him because of its testimony. It is through the testimony of God’s word that we know how to live our lives.
